In 2008, Jim Keiling faced a challenge every special needs parent knows: finding safe, reliable transportation for his daughter Patrice. The options were few, the quality was poor, and the stress was constant. So Jim did what any determined father would do — he built the solution himself.
Real Life Choices Transit was born from a father's love and a commitment to do better. What started as a small operation quickly grew because families recognized something different — a provider who truly understood.
In March 2024, David Levitt acquired Real Life Choices. David's connection to this work is deeply personal — his sister Orli is a person with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and David spent 10 years volunteering at Pillar Care. He didn't just buy a business. He joined a mission.
Today, Jim continues as CFO, and together with David's drive to scale with excellence, Real Life Choices has become New Jersey's largest specialized transportation provider — serving 120+ families across every county in the state.
